Bags, Bags and More Bags

Handbags are one of my absolute favorite accessories. I have so many but honestly I need them! A nice clutch is perfect for heading out in the evening while a tote is perfect for daytime and kids. When I am out and about during the day I need something large enough to carry diapers, wipes, a few toys, water bottle, snacks and my makeup bag. I am going to show you a few of my favorites!

This bag is huge and large enough for me to carry all the kids' items along with a bottle of wine (if needed). I love the classic black and white stripes. 
This clutch is my favorite beacause it slips perfectly into the outside pocket of my Hudson Tote. I have a day to night look in a quick second.

This bag I use for my business (like a modern briefcase). It's a heavy duty bag with style and holds a file folder along with my MacBook Pro. The luggage strap makes it easy to carry. 


The next clutch is my go to wedding/special event bag. It is elegant enough for a dressed up evening out and practical too. The hand cut perforation on this bag makes it look like a high end designer. My favorite part of this bag is the built in mirror and zipper pockets that hold more than just a lipstick.

 Hi everyone, We have been in Orlando for almost three weeks. I can't believe it has been that long! Twenty days tomorrow to be exact. This is still a stressful time. Between real estate fiascos (selling a house up north) and renting troubles (our current home while we decide where to be more permanent-not quite perfect) life has been chaotic. We have also had a troublesome moving experience (PODS' customer service is a Kafkaesque nightmare).  The difficulties we have had in leaving everything and moving is counterbalanced by the new and familar experiences we are having.  Daily trips to the Disney parks and outings to the beach fill our days. So while everything is still a mess this is an adventure. Hopefully things will even out soon.  We are living in a very nice part of Orlando called Dr. Phillips,  just minutes from the parks. Inspiring Innovation

 2015 was a big year of change for our family. We moved from the northeast to central Florida with 3 children and one of them was a baby at the time.  Tod is a patent attorney as many of my friends and family already know. He has been in the "patent business" for 19 years. His experience includes 6 years as an examiner at the U.S. PTO while attending law school at George Washington Law, 12 years in private practice,  to his current patent attorney day job for a major corporation . Over time we have been asked many questions about the patent industry in general. Women have come to us with fabulous ideas and questions more than anyone else.   One thing we have been thinking long and hard about is a new business venture. Amphicars

These amphicars are some of the coolest things we have ever seen! These boat/cars are adjacent to the Boathouse and can be rented for a ride around the lake along with your own personal captain. There is a funny story behind these cool amphicars. My mom and I were having drinks on the Boathouse dock when she saw them for the first time (actually her 2nd time). She went crazy because she told me this story about how she saw one of these amphicars in 1964 drive out of a lake in Pennsylvania! She and my grandparents thought this was going to be the future...although they obviously are not very efficient and never made it very far in either the boat or car industry.  Still, they are pretty awesome to see in person and we hope to go for a ride someday!                                              The cost is $125 for 3-4 guests and includes your own private Car Captain.
